Penn State recently got new scoreboards and needed a design in their current brand. They asked for very specific design details and were very open about what they wanted. The final product was a little underwhelming (in my opinion) and a little difficult to read, however the overall design did fit within their brand. This falls under one of those projects I wish I had more creative control over and would of made this a much simpler and open design.
